COM - Programming Interface

Compatibility on all sides

The COM interface offers nearly the same object volume (extent) as the integrated VBA. They allow the additional generation of external applications for the Editor or the Runtime in diverse programming languages (Visual Basic, Delphi, Visual C++, .NET, and many more).

It is for example possible via Excel VBA to access zenon objects and change their properties. Or alarms and numerical values can be linked to external programs that contain the respective transfer parameter.
