Chronological Eventlist
![]() |
The Chronologic Event List (CEL) displays process relevant events and zenon system messages in chronologic order. Extensive filter settings regulate the entries in the CEL.
The following options can be used for filtering:
- Entries from ring buffer
- historical entries
- groups
- classes
- Variable name
- Identification
- limit text / CEL text
- and of course times.
Just like with the Alarm message list, the following information can be displayed for each entry: variable names, identifiers, value, time of event, comments, acknowledging user, acknowledging computer, critical value text, status, class information, group information, etc.
CEL storage
CEL entries are stored historically (optional with Windows CE). Just like with alarms, this option can also be deactivated. For quick processing the data is stored in a FIFO ring buffer. The size of the ring buffer is freely configurable.
Entries in the Chronological Events List are saved in a binary file like alarms in a daily cycle. This way also the CEL benefits from absolute redundancy ability, simple administration, highest performance and full FDA CFR21 Part 11 compliance.
