Global Engineering

Most of all in decentralized project structures it makes sense, to administer some parts of the project in a global instance, e.g. users, fonts, templates for pictures, language tables or additional files like graphics or multimedia files.

zenon supports the definition of such templates in a so-called global project. Global templates are at the disposal of and can be used by all projects in the area of operation (by which is defined which projects belong together). If a change is made in the global center the changes will instantaneously affect all assigned projects.

Global engineering not only considerably reduces the engineering expenditure but also allows the setting of uniform standards (like for the user interface) in shared systems. The flexibility in regards to design, however, remains entirely with the user.
