zenon is a system that is open to all directions: You decide which hardware you work with. Thanks to over 250 different control connections new machines and modules can be connected anytime without time-loss.
The zenon Network
zenon´s decentralized data collection and administration enables the connection of various machines in production. The zenon-integrated seamless redundancy also guarantees that there always remains a clear overview and the plant always stays operable. Even if you coordinate millions of data points in one large network you can rely on zenon.
Changes in the Running System
In a dynamic production environment there is always something to improve, change, re-generate or maintain. Here zenon shines with its remote-maintenance functionality and its intelligent update mechanisms in the network.
Through the integrated zenon one-click-deployment even in non-centralized systems you have to do an update only in one central place. zenon then takes care of the automatic supply of all stations with the change. This way you avoid errors, save time and nerves.
Take it for granted: Through zenon´s easy user-concept all employees are quickly able to optimize their system and therefore contribute their know-how to the automation.
Vertical Integration
When it comes to connection to SQL-Data bases, ERP management systems or PPS systems, zenon is a product-independent platform. From here all common data base systems (such as Oracle, MS-SQL Server, DB2, Informix etc.) can be connected through standardized interfaces (ODBC/OLE DB). That means: PDC-in-house-development or standard products such as SAP® are easily and quickly integrated. A database interface is engineered by a few mouse clicks. All necessary connections and even the charts in the SQL-database are automatically created.
For SAP/R3 zenon additionally offers a tailor-made high-performance interface.
Individual Upgrades
With Microsoft VBA und COM we allow for the flexibility of an open system and make it easy for you to seemlessly integrate your own programs or third-party producer tools.
