Alarm groups and alarm classes serve the logical grouping of alarms and allow a prioritization.
Grouping: | Logical pool of messages belonging together |
Classification: | Combine alarms to priority levels for an according reaction depending on the severity of the message |
Each group or class can be assigned a name, number, color and function. The class color is used in the alarm and CEL lists as background or foreground color. A linked function is executed as soon as an alarm occurs of this group/class.
