With the Automatic Line Coloring (ALC) that’s integrated in zenon you not only give your users a better overview but you also increase the availability of the facility.

The Automatic Line Coloring serves the dynamization of lines and switch-elements in the processing technology as well as in the electrical energy distribution. It allows for the clear depiction of various objects like liquids, flows and network overview pictures.

By engineering within the process pictures the entire line-structure with all connected elements (switches, valves, generators, loads, etc.) is displayed in the system as a model. The resulting media flow is automatically depicted in the Runtime.

During development we were careful about:

1) Allowing for easy engineering

2) Providing universal functionality based on the existing elements.

This way in zenon all existing elements such as lines, pipes, combination elements etc. are at your disposal.
