Engineering
In building control technology zenon allows easy engineering of non-centralized systems. Object-orientated work allows you to reduce the engineerig effort. Similar facility components created only once - when called up variables and functions are individually assigned an object.
Platform Independent
zenon is flexible also in regard to the target platform: It does not make a difference if it is a CE-Panel, a PDA with wireless network or a central control station: With just one single engineering tool you create projects for all platforms. Naturally you can link all these projects together and enjoy the advantages of decentralized operation and centralized monitoring and supervision.
Time Control
In the area of building control technology zenon allows the change of all relevant target values either manually from the work place or automatically through an interval timer program. The tools provided range from the zenon Time Control to the Scheduler all the way to the powerful zenon Production and Facility Scheduler for time-precise and flexible control of buidlings of all sizes.
This allows, for example, for the flexible operation of ventilation facilities in different operating and load conditions. A further example: The lighting facilities are turned on/off idependently of lighting and/or time conditions and are therefore automatically adjusted to the changing requirements of the production operations.
Alarming
You immediately know, when you have to take corrective action. Individually configurable alarms and messages provide you with versatile information. With priorization, grouping and time stamping in milliseconds.
Message Control
The well-engineered alarming concept allows the messaging via e-mail, SMS or voice mail and makes sure that you are not missing anythign important. The plus of zenon: Even without being on-site you can react to messages by SMS.
Safe with Video Integration
Video Integration enables new safety standards.
Communicative
zenon allows for the coupling of various communication protocols in buildign control technology: LON, EIB, M-Bus, bacnet, SAIA, OTIS and much more. But zenon also supports special protocols for tunnel automation.
