Universal standards in the user interface of the machines helps the machine engineers achieve cost efficiency as well as a clear overview into the complexity of their product portfolio. Even more: With simple parameterization, machine specific projects are quickly generated and with the help of the integrated assistant (zenon wizards) they’re fully automatically produced by the click of a mouse.

Just as important is the easy realization of special customer wishes through simple parameterization. In this, flexibility is a crucial ingredient: most changes should not be reached through time-intensive rebuilding, but through an easy change in software.

The scope of duties of HMI/SCADA software begins with the clear graphic representation of the machines function and the easy machine operation, for example through touch screen. Recording of the most important process data in archives, and the representation in colored diagrams, do not just allow for use of friendly analysis possibilities, but also for an optimum of production quality.

When a facility is down, the integrated remote control and the simple networking of multiple facilities with intelligent redundancy (that goes beyond simple put Hot-Standby functionality) allows to safely continue operations without any data loss and to troubleshoot errors.

zenon’s openness also allows to control and monitor the facility from one central control room or from an office, and to directly exchange data with superior systems like ERP, MIS or similar systems.
