Alarming makes people aware of critical process events and supports the user in localizing and rectifying problems.
The Alarm Message List (AML) – also known as alarm management, alarm administration or alarming in different industries – logs all alarms that occur in the system. The zenon Alarm Message List is created in the Editor with a mouse click and is incorporated into planning very easily. A separate help notice can be created for each alarm.
Equipment operators can see at a glance when and where an alarm was triggered and where they need to act. It is also easy to orient yourself to very large facilities and many alarms at the same time and only display results that are important at any particular moment.
With redundant planning, alarm lists are automatically compared between the server, client and standby server. In the event that a computer has a problem, the AML is therefore up-to-date and no alarms are overlooked.
