Who changed this function? Why is this variable no longer in the project? When was the screen modified - before or after being transferred to Runtime? Sometimes it is simply helpful to know who has changed what and when. Sometimes it is a legal requirement to fully document each change in the configuration. You can take a journey through time at any time with the zenon History of Changes.
You activate the History of Changes in zenon with one click. From this moment, zenon logs all changes in the configuration for you - automatically and unerringly. With a further click, you define who can modify the settings of the change history. You thus prevent the History of Changes being turned off by another user, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Each entry contains a time stamp, the user identity and the action carried out. In the process, you not only see that user X changed a value, you naturally also see what the value was originally and how it was changed.
Major projects naturally cause a large number of entries in the Change History. However, you can easily gain an overview: filters that can be set individually help you quickly and precisely display the information that interests you. However, you can also export all entries in XML or as a CSV file and continue to process these or archive them in other programs.
