The “Taurus” from the locomotive series 016, 1116, with a razed speed of 1,500 rpm, a rated frequency of 50 Hz, a nominal power of 1,633 kW, a nominal voltage of 1,987 V, and a rated current of 571 A. This locomotive has four traction motors, which achieve a maximum speed of 230 km/h and a continuous power of 6,400 kW. With a weight of 86 t and a traction of 270 kN you can imagine, that it is necessary to maintain these motors and check them periodically.
