With the allocations the technical value of a source variable is transferred to a target variable. Whether the variables come from one or different drivers is irrelevant. The transfer of the value occurs spontaneously: Whenever the source variables value is changed, the value of the target variable is changed as well.
With zenon it is this easy to write values from the controller directly into the SQL-database or to write spontaneous value changes from one communication interface (driver) to a second driver.
