The zenon Editor supports simultaneous processing of multiple projects. Pictures, variables, etc. of two entirely different projects can be processed and opened on the screen simultaneously.

Also the Runtime can run multiple projects in parallel. This way the user can allocate the projects in an easy and logical manner, for example by machinery components that are all linked and displayed in a control station.

zenon therefore supports cross-project engineering. That means that one project can access the variables and functions of another project. This can be, for example, in order to display those variables and functions in the accessing project’s own pictures, to archive them or to specify them with recipes.
