Universality

In the network zenon works continuously with all current Windows and web-based systems, from Windows CE to Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 including the 64 bit versions all the way to WWW. Continuity proves to be a decisive feature for success in the engineering phase: one project for all platforms. Continuity also has many advantages in the networking of facilities.

Engineering

A project has to be created only once. Then it runs on all platforms, no matter if it is a CE terminal, PC or WEB solution. And it is that easy:

• without conversion
• with automatic resolution adjustment for varying monitor resolutions for consistent display quality
• easy change of the hardware platform without tedious adjustments or cost intensive new engineering
• continous networking possible

Networking

Also in the network zenon stations show the same and continuous behavior as during engineering. This way, for example, a CE terminal can be both client and server. All network functions like project data alignment or central data storage are similarly available.

Alingning of the engineering data

Nothing is as simple as engineering a zenon network:

• In the Editor check the Network active box in Network and input a computer name as the server.
• The entire logic such as data comparison, redundancy, multiple project administration, horizontal transparency, etc. is integrated into zenon – all ready to go. There is no need for further engineering or configuration.
• With the remote transport the project can now be transferred to or started on the server PC (or CE terminal) or any other PC.
