COPA-DATA at Hannover Messe 2016

At this year's Hannover Messe we're presenting zenon as the cockpit of key figures for the Smart Factory. From April 25-29 at the Microsoft booth C40 in Hall 7, we will present scalable software solutions with zenon to provide vertical data integration for the Smart Factory. Here, both existing and new sensory systems can be integrated seamlessly into an overall solution, right up to the cloud. This enables industrial IoT for cross-site analyses.

Cross-site benchmarking with zenon and Azure

Our cloud solution integrates zenon with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Here, data from individual production sites and different locations of a company, beginning at the sensor level, can be provided in just one system, in real-time. It enables companies to compare and correlate data and display it in the form of clear dashboards. With this new solution, companies can also pursue approaches such as energy management, OEE, etc. at a global level too, and use zenon as a tool for company-wide optimization. The zenon cloud solution thereby integrates different systems, acts as a cockpit for key figures and allows analyses based on real-time and historical data.

New cloud framework for sensitive production data

Microsoft has set a new course for companies that have until now not critically considered the topic of cloud when it comes to their production data. In cooperation with a national data trustee of the Microsoft Cloud all customer data can be made available in national data processing centers and thereby within the respective prevailing local legal system. Only individual customers can have access to their data with the data trustee. Companies that previously avoided the step to the cloud due to data security or compliance issues, are now given new opportunities. Our solutions with zenon in connection to cloud computing are thereby also shifting, in terms of legal requirements, into the phase of feasibility.
