Partner Community goes Industrial IoT (IIoT)
The Industrial Internet of Things and the thereby affected convergence between OT and IT are of strategic significance for COPA-DATA. This fact is also having an impact on our partner ecosystem – examples of which can be seen in the intensive exchange of knowledge that is allowing our existing partners to use the latest zenon functions as effectively as possible, as well as our new partner companies which bring a high level of IT expertise and experience with them. One such company is Slovenia-based ADD, which specializes in IT and relies on zenon for its Industrial IoT solutions.
Partner ADD: OT and IT expertise successfully combined
The system integrator ADD has been a member of the COPA-DATA Partner Community since October 2016. The Slovenian IT company has been specializing in the design, development, and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions for over 25 years. ADD provides expertise and solutions for various industries and is one of the recommended Microsoft Partners in Slovenia. In 2015, the company was certified as a Big Data Partner in the EMEA region and in 2016, it was selected as the Microsoft Country Partner of the Year in Slovenia.
As a result of the market development around the Industrial Internet of Things, the company began searching for suitable automation software last year – ultimately choosing zenon due to its versatile application options and flexibility. This gave ADD the ability to significantly expand its own solution portfolio in just a short time, which has now put it in a position to market comprehensive IIoT solutions from cloud sensor technology to mobile terminals.
Together with Andrej Hudoklin, Business Solutions Director at ADD, we have taken a closer look into this promising partnership within the context of the Industrial Internet of Things. Read the interview in our IU Magazine here.
