zenon 8.10 launches to the UK market: An ergonomic transition to Smart manufacturing

We will exhibit from the show’s Industrial Automation zone — one of eight dedicated areas to demonstrate different technologies that are essential for the digitalisation of factories. As part of a larger event, Digital Manufacturing Week, the Smart Factory Expo welcomes over 6,000 industry leaders, all of which have goals to increase the amount of digital technology used in the manufacturing realm.

 

Smart software upgrades

The Smart Factory Expo 2019 coincides with the release of zenon 8.10, the newest version of our well-established software platform. The new version, which was launched officially from our Austrian head office in July 2019, delivers improvements on the capabilities of the pre-existing zenon offering and is more secure, efficient and user-friendly than ever before.

 

zenon 8.10 has been skilfully coded to meet the ever-changing requirements of state-of-the-art automation. As the number of variables in factories grows exponentially, the data processing capabilities of zenon 8.10 has grown with it. For instance, the newest update has increased the number of potential value changes from 400 to 150,000 per second — achieving a three-fold improvement without impacting runtime performance.

 

At the show, we will be at hand to provide live demonstrations of zenon, allowing visitors to view exactly how zenon could be used to manage processes in their facility. This includes an updated demonstration which includes new zenon dashboards.

 

From the stand, we will also show the zenon Analyzer 3.30 reporting tool, an improved version of its real-time reporting and analytics program.

 

Ask the experts

Our technical support team and our managing director, Martyn Williams, will be present at the show to answer any questions about the software platform. The team will provide knowledge and insight into the software, as well as provide case studies and literature to demonstrate how zenon could be deployed in specific sectors or applications.
